An oath that will be tested in the years to come. Thirty years on and Aulus, now Rome’s most successful general, faces his toughest battle. Barbarian rebels have captured his wife, and are demanding the withdrawal of Roman legions from their land in return for her life. It is unthinkable for Aulus to agree, and he fears her life must be forfeit to Rome. Meanwhile, Lucius has risen to high rank in the Senate; a position he uses and abuses. But when Lucius is suspected of arranging a murder, the very foundations of the Republic are threatened. Lost City – Clive Cussler and Paul Kemprecos

Lost City

Lost City The discovery of a body frozen for ninety years in a glacier high in the French Alps seems of unlikely concern to Kurt Austin and the NUMA Special Projects team. But when those on site are trapped in alpine tunnels flooding with glacial meltwater, Austin can hardly ignore a cry for help. And this near tragedy proves to be no mere accident.

In another installment of the NUMA series, Lost City follows the Fauchards, a mother-and-son team who are ruthless in their thirst for domination; with an impressively complex plan, the two are planning to take over the world using the Earth’s most precious resource: water. When the NUMA team uncovers their scheme, the mother-son duo will confront their greatest challenge: the world’s go-to James Bond, hero of the day, savior of the seas, Kurt Austin.

We give you the 10 most common types of bosses. 🙂

Heroic cat saves boy from dog

A brave cat showed that the dog isn’t always the most loyal and protective beast in the animal kingdom, and this footage proves it.

A young boy was riding his bicycle in the driveway of his parents’ house when, suddenly, an unleashed dog gave chase and pounced viciously on the boy.

Surveillance footage shows the dog sinking its teeth into the boy’s leg, and it appeared as though the boy was about to be severely wounded, if not killed.

Then, out of nowhere, a cat comes flying into the picture, attacking the dog and saving the boy.

Cats have a poor reputation for not being the friendliest of animals, but this cat is hearing none of that. A dog may be regarded as man’s best friend, but this cat is this boy’s hero.

And this is what i call a Meow Thai cat. Cat wins!
